Welcome to Opti-Forms, Inc. the premier international producer of electroformed optics, reflectors, mechanical electroformed parts and application of specialty thin film optical coatings. We provide one source for your substrate design engineering, development, manufacturing, optical coating and mounting requirements.

Our 62,000 square foot state of the art facility is a completely self-contained optical production facility.  We start with engineering design, manufacturing of electroformed optics, complete optical coating capability on our own (or your) substrates, in addition to custom mounting for your specific application.

For over twenty years Opti-Form’s, Inc. has provided industry with premium quality electroformed reflectors and custom optical thin film coatings for many uses from digital video projection, motion picture, high-intensity architectural lighting, color correction, stage lighting, printed circuit boards, resin curing, medical and military/defense applications now including coldshields.  Our highly experienced staff offers their knowledge gained from many years of industry service to every order we process.

We have a large inventory of standard stock parts ready for immediate delivery. See our specifications and prices in the standard geometries section.   These include parabolic, elliptical and off axis segments.  Our extensive mandrel library and in-house tooling capability allows us rapid turn around time for most new configurations.  Our machining capability includes in-house custom mandrel development or small production run parts saving you both time and money on your specialty orders and prototype work.

We also manufacture other non-optic electroformed mechanical items such as complex, thin case (wall) assemblies, bellows, coldshields and other unique shapes.  Many of these component configurations are uneconomical, or simply impossible, to manufacture with any other conventional machining technique.

Opti-Forms also has a complete Optical Thin Film Coating Lab offering a wide range of specialty coatings for hot and cold reflectors (mirrors), laser light collection, beam splitters, band pass filters, UV blocking filters, infrared covert military filters etc.  Our capabilities include both Electrodeposition and Vacuum Deposition with proprietary Electron Beam Vapor Deposition.

In most cases, a customer’s performance requirement is met by selecting from Opti-Forms’ large selection of validated optical coatings.  If a performance requirement is not met with a performance validated standard optical coating, Opti-Forms' engineering team works in partnership with our clients, developing custom deposition solutions for their specific application.
