Antireflective Coatings

Opti-Forms offers a range of standard antiflective coatings. The performance of each of these coatings are displayed in the reflectivity graph.

Most requirements can be satisfied with our standard coatings available, although specifc tuning of reflectance properties can be designed to meet your optical design requirements. Please contact our Thin Film Group and talk to one of our friendly and knowledgeable sales engineers.

VSLAR 550 - Single Layer Antireflection

The SLAR is a single layer of MgF2 deposited onto glass. It is a broad band visible coating. The SLAR reduces first surface reflectance loss on glass from ~ 4.2 to approximately 1.5%.

Reflectivity Science - AR Coatings

BBAR - Broad Band Antireflection

The BBAR reduces first surface reflectance loss on glass from ~ 4.2 to less than 0.5% in the visible portion of the spectrum.

VAR 532 - Notch Antireflection

The VAR coating approaches zero reflectance at a single wavelength. Please specify your wavelength of interest when ordering this coating.
