UV Coatings

Opti-Forms offers a range of standard UV coatings. The performance of each of these coatings are displayed in the reflectivity graph.

Most requirements can be satisfied with our standard coatings available, although specifc tuning of reflectance properties can be designed to meet your optical design requirements. Please contact our Thin Film Group and talk to one of our friendly and knowledgeable sales engineers.

UVDCC 220-240

The UVDCC 220-240 is a high reflectance, narrow band, low loss, UV coating centering at 230 nm. Out of band reflectance is suppress by design.

UVDCC 365-434

The UVDCC 365-434 is a high reflectance, narrow band, low loss, deep UV coating that covers the G, H, and I lines at 365 - 434 nm. Out of band reflectance is suppressed by design.

Aluminum With Magnesium
Fluoride Overcoat (AF)

Used where the ultraviolet reflectivity of aluminum is required. The magnesium fluoride overcoat retards oxidation and provides some abrasion protection.

UVEN (enhanced nickel) Coating Peformance

The EN coating is a multilayer dielectric stack deposited directly onto Ni substrates. The stack improves the reflectance of the bare Ni to nearly 100% over a select wavelength range, with very low losses. This coating is used primarily in the UV range. Please specify your wavelength range of interest when ordering this coating.

UVDCC 240-270

The UV DCC 240-270 is a high reflectance, narrow band, low loss, deep UV coating centered at 255 nm. Out of band reflectance is suppressed by design.
