Opti-Forms has extensive experience in optical metal polishing techniques and processes developed by highly skilled optical technicians.

We routinely polish a wide variety of metallic surfaces ranging from chrome plated, electroless nickel, stainless steel, brass, copper as well as other common substrates.

Our polishing process introduces no stress to the surface material. We have a highly controlled micron cutting/polishing technique.

Our precision polishing facility uses the latest CNC equipment together with conventional production processes to provide extremely precise geometries and surface flatness.

Opti-Forms specializes in polishing unique shapes, including but not limited to, asphereics, troughs, and multi-sided geometries.


Coating Applications at Opti-Forms

Opti-forms offers a wide variety of thin film optical coatings. A few applications include:

In most cases a customer’s performance requirement can be met by choosing from Opti-Forms' large selection of standard optical coatings. If a performance requirement isn’t met with a standard optical coating, Opti-Forms will design and deposit a custom solution.
