Optiforms manufactures many different thin film coatings. The coatings represented in these charts are just a small sample of the coatings that we can apply. Our optical thin film coatings can be specified based on performance at a specific wavelength and the performance of an optical thin film coating can be affected by the geometry of the part to be coated. Coating performance can be affected by the angle of incidence and the specific angle at which the coating is tested.

BBAR Coating

An anti-reflective coating is a type of optical coating designed to prevent the reflection of light from the surface of the lens. These coatings can increase the throughput of an optical system by reducing light lost by reflection. This broadband anti-reflection coating provides a very low reflectance over a broad spectral range.
